Interesting facts about me

Have been clean and sober for several twenty-four hours and am grateful for a new life. My biggest love outside of recovery is playing bridge.

I do love to read and post on my web sites.

Hey Jo in the last 3 years I had 6 surgeries and 2 of them since Aug 22nd, lol

8/22 was my hand and 6 days ago on 11/7 had my left knee fixed.

Have come to realize I just keep trudgin, lol and once I get healed I am much better than I was before.

Example: I cannot believe how my 'chronic pain' has subsided now that it is not continually triggered
by my knee. I have come to believe that pain triggers pain. Oh I still have my back pain from degenitive
disk disease and some joint pain from the osteoarthritis, but not like it was 6 days ago.

If you trust your doctors then surgery can be a good thing, if you don't................get a second and third
    opinion if needed.

I am glad you are taking care of you!!!!!!!

    Love and hugs,

    laurie

Thank you for sharing. My hip and knee will probably have to be done in the future. I see the surgeons to set up the appointments to have the surgery. I could be looking at another 3 months. I just try to live in today and stay in the moment.

    Love and Hugs,

    Jo
